Terms of service

Edu SaaS is a web platform that schools, preschools, colleges and training institutes use to manage attendance, batches, fees, exams, live classes, communication and related records. Features are provided as modules that are switched on for each institution. Features described as roadmap items are not part of the service until we release them.

• Give accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials confidential.
• An organization is created by its first administrator. Staff, students and guardians join with the organization's join code and are approved by an administrator.
• Administrators are responsible for the people they approve and for what those people do in the organization's account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

• You decide what personal data about students, parents and staff is entered, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis for it, including parental consent for children where required.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create, including fees, marks, attendance and certificates.
• You are responsible for configuring and complying with the terms of any third-party service you connect, such as your own Zoom account for live classes.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to store or send content you have no right to use;
• attempt to gain access to another organization's data, or to bypass or test our security without our written permission;
• overload, scrape or interfere with the service;
• share your login with others or use someone else's.

There is no public price list. Charges for using Edu SaaS are set out in a written quotation or order agreed with the institution.

Where an institution collects student fees through the platform, the payment is between the payer and that institution, and is processed by Razorpay under Razorpay's own terms. We do not see or store card or UPI details. The institution is responsible for its own refunds and fee policies.

An institution's data remains the institution's. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service. Our privacy policy and data protection page describe how that data is handled.

We own the Edu SaaS software, design and branding. These terms give you a right to use the service, not to copy it, resell it or build a competing service from it.

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation unless a separate written agreement says so. We may improve, change or retire features, and will give institutions reasonable notice of changes that remove something they rely on.

We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if continued access puts the service or other users at risk. An institution may stop using the service at any time and can ask us about exporting its data.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or revenue, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the institution paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India with jurisdiction over the matter will hear any dispute.

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
